Experience RTX Caustics and new generation RTX features in a small space ship demo, flying around in a Ray Traced world, only lit by small, friendly cubes, and a glowing threat, DEADLY RED GLOWING SPHERES.
Survive as long as you can while firing at deadly, red glowing spheres and avoiding the moving walls.
Shoot red spheres to make them smaller and survive before the world collapes and you run out of space.
Survive as long as you can until you run out of space!

Controls
Controllers work in game, but NOT in the menus.
ONLY mouse and keyboard work in menus currently, but you can switch to a controller once out of the menu.
- No weapon input, ship auto fires weapon
- W A S D / Left Controller Stick -> Movement
- Mouse / Right Controller Stick -> Camera
- Shift / Left Trigger -> Spring
- Space / Controller Up Button (Xbox Y) and RB -> Move Upward
- CTRL / C / Controller Left Button (Xbox X) and Right Trigger

BLACK SCREEN ON STARTUP??! WHAT DO I DO ?
NOTE : When first starting the game, wait a minute or two for shaders to compile. The game will show a black screen but it should eventually load.

!! FOR NVIDIA RTX GPUs ONLY !!
I'm not stopping you from trying other GPUs but it probably wont work because this is an NVidia heavy branch of Unreal, but you do you and let me know how it works!

This is my solo and amateur attempt at implementing new RTX features, learn about ray tracing, and the ability to try an obscure branch of a fork of Unreal Engine.
I ended up creating a fun little demo with a lot of fancy colors, reflections, water, pcg, and dynamic materials! I hope you enjoy it!

- NO LIGHTS ?! ONLY EMISSION FROM MATERIALS !? WHAT! YES! PHYSICALLY-BASED LIGHTING ONLY !
- Dynamic materials with user input and options on the main menu!
- Procedural Generation Framework (PCG) for world objects ( World and floating objects are placed by PCG and are full meshes)
- Dynamic Enemy Materials - Emission-based brightness shows the enemy's health amount !
- Post Processing Effects -> Color correction, chromatic arboration, depth levels, shadow, contrast
- Dynamic Landscape generated with heightmaps and dynamic materials for quick color and material changes!
- Lumen and Ray Tracing, working hand-in-hand, flourishing
Main Menu Options:
- Toggle Shiny : Toggle the landscape between full shiny and fully matte (roughness),
- Toggle filter : Toggles a pixelation + chromatic arboration filter on or off,
- Random landscape color : Randomly select a color for the ground landscape,
- Toggle Frame Generation : Toggles NVidia DLSS-FG (Frame Generation) on or off.

This project was entirely created by me besides:
- samples meshes (cube, plane, etc)
- FPS sample input (IMC, IA)
- CCO Height map provided by MotionForge
Wrap up :
I started late so this was completed in 5 days, but I'm happy with how it turned out !
I had an awesome time and I learned so so much! I ran out of time so hopefully we'll get more added to this page and make it into a bigger game if anyone is interested.
And I hope you have as much fun playing my game as I had making it!
